BREAKING: Van Plows Into Crowd Outside Of London Mosque, Casualties Reported...

It appears there has been a major incident outside of a mosque in London and the details are pouring in.

It isn’t clear yet what exactly happened but a van plowed into a crowd of people near the Finsbury Park Mosque.

Some outlets are reporting fatalities and there are definitely several people injured.

Here’s what we know…

From Fox News:

A van slammed into a crowd of people on a road in north London around midnight Sunday night leaving several people hurt, police said, adding that one person has been arrested.

It happened as worshipers were leaving the Finsbury Park Mosque after midnight Ramadan prayers, Sky News reported. Paramedics rushed at least one person away in an ambulance, Reuters added.

From The Daily Mail:

Twitter users claimed the victims were Muslims leaving late-night prayers being observed for the month of Ramadan.

The leader of Finsbury Park mosque, Mohammed Kozbar, told The Sun: ‘Whoever did this, he did it to hurt people and it’s a terrorist attack.

‘We call it a terrorist attack as we called it in Manchester, Westminster and London Bridge.’

He added he heard there had been fatalities but did not want to ‘jump to conclusions.’

Too early to know for sure but many are assuming this was an attack targeted at the Muslims who were leaving the mosque.

As you know, Muslim extremists have been responsible for three terror attacks in England in the past 3 months.

We will keep you posted as to whether or not this turns out to be an attack carried out in the name of Islam or a “revenge attack” of some kind.
