We thought we had our fake news story of the day with the AP changing the Fresno killer’s words from “Allahu Akbar” to “God is Great”.

But apparently media couldn’t make it through the day without another fake news story.

The winner this time is the New York Times.

Check how they depicted today’s visit by the New England Patriots to the White House.

Now one might ask why they felt it necessary to compare the two years.

The effort would seem, of course, to diminish President Donald Trump.

But the New England Patriots caught them and tackled their effort.

Oops, you mean the NY Times was being deceptive?

According to the Patriots, the delegation had the same number of people although there was was a variation in player number.

The majority of players did show up, although a few, including Martellus Bennett, Devin McCourty, Dont’a Hightower and Alan Branch, skipped the event. Tom Brady cancelled at the last minute, citing personal family matters, but giving good wishes to President Trump, who is a personal friend.

When the New England Patriots has to call out the NY Times for fakery, it’s getting pretty bad…
