Liberals–especially ones named John Kerry–say a lot of dumb things, but the Secretary of State’s latest “oops” moment is a fail of epic proportions.
Keeping in character with the glaring anti-Semitism that has become a staple of the Obama administration, Kerry took a moment to slam Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, saying he wasn’t “trustworthy” because of his support for the Iraq War.
The only problem here is that Kerry himself also voted in favor of the war.
Applying Kerry’s own logic here, I guess his support of the Iraq war means he can’t be trusted either.
Of course, we already knew that.
From Daily Beast:
Secretary of State John Kerry blasted Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, claiming his support for the U.S. invasion of Iraq shows his judgment on Iran can’t be trusted. “The prime minister was profoundly forward-leaning and outspoken about the importance of invading Iraq under George W. Bush. We all know what happened with that decision,” Kerry said during a House hearing Wednesday. Of course, Kerry voted for the war in Iraq in 2002 and said he was for the invasion during his presidential campaign against George W. Bush in 2004.
The amount of face palms this nonsense deserves would likely land me in the emergency room, so I won’t attempt them, although I really, really want to.
Israel is our most important ally in the Middle East, and we’ve enjoyed a rather lengthy partnership with them for years, until Barack “The Destroyer” Obama took office.
Since then Obama has made sure to stay in step with his progressive ideology and has managed to do massive damage to this critical relationship and nearly undo the decades worth of friendship between the two nations in just a few short years.
Hopefully Netanyahu understands that knuckleheads like Kerry aren’t in any way representative of the majority of the American people and will do what the rest of us do when he says something stupid.
We just make fun of him.
