Look what happened when libs “demanded” GoFundMe remove a page for Officer Wilson

Fullscreen capture 8222014 110009 AM.bmp

Somebody started a GoFundMe page offering support for Darren Wilson, the Ferguson police officer who shot Michael Brown.

The GoFundMe page says:

This page has been created to support Officer Darren Wilson of the Ferguson Police Department.

We stand behind Officer Darren Wilson and his family during this trying time in their lives. All proceeds will be sent directly to Darren Wilson and his family for any financial needs they may have including legal fees.

Naturally, liberals are freaking out about this page and are demanding it be removed. People Psychos are comparing Officer Wilson to ISIS.

    From Examiner:

GoFundMe page offering support for Darren Wilson, the Ferguson police officer who shot Michael Brown, has angered a number of people who have demanded the page be pulled for allegedly supporting racism,Twitchy reported Thursday. The effort, Twitchy said, is being led by Shaun King, founder of Upfront Media Group, who made the demand on Twitter.

“We are 72 hours away from asking people to never use your platform again,” he tweeted. “Clock starts now. Remove that campaign.”

GoFundMe, however, did not cave to King’s demands, and did not remove the page. On Friday, he repeated his demand, telling GoFundMe it had 12 hours to remove the campaign or face a boycott.

According to the page, all of the funds raised will go directly to Wilson and his family. But some believe that supporting Wilson is tantamount to supporting ISIS, the militant Islamist group beheading children in Iraq.

One person, for example, said supporting Wilson is “no different than supporting #ISIS. Death is death. Taking one’s life should not be rewarded.”

GoFundMe has still not caved to the demands and continues to allow the page to accept donations. The page now has over $227,000 in donations.

So happy to see conservatives backing big government instead of people on this issue. It shows their true colors.

      • What about Oboba?

Is that what you see here? You’re dumb, son.

      • Vendetta

This is backing an individual who’s life has been turned upside down while doing his job serving his community, backing an indivudual who was protecting his own life and now can’t leave his own home for fear of murder.

      • Roscoe

So happy to see Democrats/liberals/progressives, (oh well… might as well go with commies), supporting the mob mentality of big government to go after the individual.

      • Tim Olsen

        “local police force” “Big Government”
Officer Wilson is a person too.
Brown’s death is tragic, that doesn’t make it criminal.

      • 1luckydog

Just backing a good cop who did a good thing

        • Kevin Lauder

Good thing to know you believe the death penalty without chance of trial is an appropriate punishment for theft. I bet you want to line up all executive suits in this country that have robbed us blind through our government and have them executed by firing squad too. Am I right?

          • Jettboy

No, just liberal democrat lawmakers and federal judges.

      • joeb1

Don’t you have a Planned Parenthood clinic to back instead of an individual baby human being somewhere???

        • Kevin Lauder

No, I’d rather p*ss on your little parade. :D

      • Cap

And, once again, we see a libtard showing his low-information true colors..What a ninny..

        • Kevin Lauder

Ninnies are the one’s that don’t recognize the hypocrisy of being against big government, while cheering on excessive force from that government when it’s officials are empowered by citizens to use it. Most of us are low information voters–considering that truth is well hidden; though it’s in plain view if you care and know where and how to look. I’m thankful every day I’m not a no information voter like you.

    • HateTheGame

The best part of the story is that Officer Wilson’s campaign raised more than the campaign for Mike Wilson.

I don’t think GoFundMe takes government hand outs

You mean you can’t donate using EBT cards?

    • GOPENS87

      Liberals are the real nazis.

      • Kyle

One person and a few others try to have a GoFundMe page taken down and you see that as tantamount to liberals being Nazis and all of them supporting this? Seems like that would lead to an angry and misinformed life.

        • AnotherNoName

They would kill if the law allowed it, make no mistake.

The better term is political terrorists.

National socialist, democratic socialists. No difference.

          • Twitch

Except that national socialists shot democratic/normal socialists… so theres that.

I don’t have a twitter so I’ll just post it here I love how they all clamor about racism when they don’t even know the facts more and more evidence is supporting the cops version of events. BUT HEY WE MUST BE RACIST POOR BLACK BABY who happened to be an adult 6,4 and 300lb assaulting an officer and going for the gun… smh idiots these days

          • LexSkeptic

There are none so blind as those who will not see.

            • mattb4rd

I’m ready to see. Still waiting on more facts to emerge. If Wilson is guilty of an unjustifiable shooting I want him prosecuted to the fullest extent of the law.

            • rjstange

So……what if the evidence shows he reacted justifiably and was in fear of his life? Will you support him, or will you claim that six bullets was too many? Just curious.

            • mattb4rd

The amount of ammunition needed to end a deadly threat situation is always best determined after the altercation, not before. If 6 is what it took, that’s what it took. I’m not sure I understand your question.

            • rjstange

I was just curious as to whether or not you were truly open to the whatever the facts are that come out, and it seems you are. Some people are saying what you had previously posted about being “open to the facts”, but wanted the cop punished to the full extent of the law. It sounds good……but their obvious proclivity to prosecute the cop certainly overshadows their earlier claim of waiting for the facts, and willing to accept them whatever they may be. Again, it seems you are genuine in your openness.

            • SomeGalNTx

And he should have the FULL benefit do the BEST legal team available. If giving him 20 bucks assures a FAIR TRIAL, then who wouldn’t be in support of that, except those who would convict solely based on skin color?

            • grayjohn

And none so dumb as those who will not be smart.

          • mattb4rd

Yep. I got some hate sent my way “Racists piece of sh*t” , “White Devil” etc. Of course I blocked them immediately.

    • tx18wheels

Looks like Upfront Media Group has done more than anyone else to draw awareness and donations! Liberal ‘logic’ has a way of backfiring, and it’s now happening on so many levels.

    • Moderately Intelligent

You would probably consider me a lib, but I support the officer. Shouldn’t be a political thing.

      • Jim

He was already getting paid when he shot that kid, so why would anyone give him more money? Money won’t help him live with the fact that he took a persons life.

        • Jim

Besides that, you shouldn’t reward a cop with money after they killed someone no matter how bad the person was.

          • obama_sucks2

I think some of this money will go to help him move. At least I would move! Nothing wrong with supporting a man whom you believe to be harassed for doing his job.

          • LexSkeptic

So every police officer who has killed in the line of duty should be penalized? I don’t think they need cash, but we pay them to protect us from thugs, thieves, bullies…..oh just like Michael Brown. There are very few officers who go into that line of work just so they can kill people. You make it sound like he is a horrible person because he killed someone IN THE LINE OF DUTY. If you had a gigantic, violent thug charging at you and you had a gun in your hand, and you have given numerous commands to STOP, would you let him keep coming at you????? You would either soil your pants and get ready for a beat down or stop the GIANT, charging thug with bullets. Have you seen the videos of the thug charging at the officers and getting on the curb to be in a higher position of dominance and intimidation over the officer? These are moves that show the thug is ready to engage in some pretty mean moves, and the officer has to act accordingly. The thug could have kept his lazy a$$ at home and packed for college and he would still be alive. Guess he wanted some high class blunts.

            • Angel Martinez

there was no reason to kill that boy.. He can a shoot without killing him an did the brown boy attack you something you don’t know that kid you should stop talk about him the way you are belive it or not he was some ones son and I’m sure he is loved and missed

            • I be axing for help

Were you there? Do you know all the facts? How do you know the police officer didn’t have double vision from the cracked orbital bone that the gentle giant gave him? Police are trained to take 3 shots when they are attacked: 2 to the chest and one to the head. For all you know this cop may have had double vision and had no choice but to shoot to protect his life. And if he had missed and Brown had killed him would we be having this conversation? Probably – because you would be defending this scum bag for justifiable homicide by saying the cop should never have drawn his gun. You are pathetic Angel!

            • Boboe

You’re an idiot. If someone is charging you, you shoot to kill. Period.

            • Angel Martinez

Lol how was he charging him when he shot the kid in the back learn the FACS befor you speak

            • grayjohn

Man, does it hurt to be as stupid as you? What movie did you choose to live in? You sure don’t exist in reality.

          • Micah

It’s not a “reward.” It’s financial support in case he needs it. Because of his actions, which seem to be more and more likely to be completely justified as the days go by though I still want to hear what all of the witnesses actually had to say, because of those actions, he’s had death threats, protests for his incarcerations (regardless of facts), and general uproar across the country. If the facts do indeed show that he was completely justified, these protestors won’t care. Zimmerman was shown to be justified in the shooting death of Martin due to self defense, but people have continued to call for his death.

Officer Wilson may have to move, change his habits, and a whole slew of things to stay under the radar and protect himself and his family. Many of those things cost money.

          • CarltonTheDoorman

I’ll do whatever the f I want Jimbo. Those animals shouldn’t be burning their town but I don’t see you whining about that.

        • Benjamin O’Donnell

Because of all the legal fees and oh of course the hospital bill he had to pay after getting attacked by Brown.

          • LexSkeptic

He will probably have to have security for himself and his family for the rest of their lives. Some nutcase will want to get “justice” for the gentle giant by doing some harm to him or someone who cares about him. God be with the family.

          • Micah

Hospital bill should be taken care of by the department since he was injured in the line of duty. But legal fees is more likely since he may face an unjust and malicious prosecution regardless of the facts, as Zimmerman did.

            • benshivd

Exactly , Zimmerman’s aquittal costed millions.

        • Traci

He was a police officer……They do have to kill people in the line of duty. The money may be needed to relocate himself and his family for their own safety. There are people who want him killed. Sounds like a worthy cause to me. He should not be hunted simply for doing his duty and protecting himself.

        • I be axing for help

He took the life of a dirtbag dripping with attitude. If he wasn’t shot this time he would’ve gotten it at a later date.

          • Angel Martinez

What is wrong with you nomater what he was some ones child how whould you like it if you had a child an a cop shot your kid 6times grow up you make me sick

            • Theresa Easley

My child wouldn’t do anything that would warrant being shot by a cop.

            • I be axing for help

My kid would not be ROBBING from a convenience store and strong arming a smaller clerk, like this “Gentle Giant” did. Every parent says the same thing “Not my son.” Maybe if you had practiced a little discipline with your kid he’d be alive today.

            • CarltonTheDoorman

Angel, what would the police in the homeland that you fled from have done? Probably shot him, any witnesses, and dumped the bodies. Try learning the language.

            • Angel Martinez

If you truly think that way I feel so sorry for you poor mentally challenged little kid

            • Boboe

If my child had robbed a store, then attacked a cop, I would accept the outcome. Would feel better if he’d been killed by only one bullet?

            • Angel Martinez

Lol ha ha ha sure you would an he could have wounded him not killed him he went over board with it an should not be a cop if he can’t keep his self composed enough to deal with the situation the right way point blank end of story

        • Shawn Herron

Same logic for Brown’s family, beyond a funeral, what have they lost financially by his death? Money won’t help them either, but they sure seem more than happy to be taking it.

          • Micah

It’s the same as the Trayvon Martin Foundation. His parents are on the board, so they get a nice cushy salary, making money off of the death of their son.

          • Angel Martinez

Now that’s bullshit shawn herron than that cop don’t need a penny what makes that cops family need more money than browns money helps everyone I don’t think we should give any to one who attacks anybody or shoot anybody 6 times but you can’t say that cops worth more than brown cuz he’s not if any one should put their hands and back in their pocket is the police officer because most cops abuse their power anyway we don’t need to pay them to do it

            • Theresa Easley

              Ever heard of punctuation?

            • CarltonTheDoorman

      • LexSkeptic

It would be nice to let the American Justice System work the way it’s intended, but the officer has been tried and convicted by the media, and the majority of the black community. This officer and his family have to fear for their lives, and yes, he is going to need EXPENSIVE legal representation. God help this family.

    • I be axing for help

      Unbelievable!

    • I be axing for help

The truth will ultimately come out and Officer Wilson will be acquitted. Michael Brown got what he deserved.

      • Kyle

That’s a bold statement considering much of what has come out says the opposite

        • Daniel

How do you figure Kyle? There is video with a raw in censored in scripted account that supports what the officer said. Autopsy supports that he was running toward the cop when shot, and the fact that his eye orbit was fractured. Plus the fact that he committed strong arm robbery is important because it speaks to the mindset of the individual involved. He was violent and knew he committed a crime and would do anything to avoid a felling arrest. So please tell me how the 6’1 295 lb robber was a saint who was gunned down by a racist cop. Pathetic

        • Benjamin O’Donnell

Not to mention the autopsy completely shut down the other criminals account of the events oh and don’t forget the more then a dozen community witnesses Daniel that corroborate the cops way of events.

        • I be axing for help

I just saw an interview with a local politician in Ferguson who was adamant that officer Wilson was guilty of police brutality – based on the fact that the victim has 6 bullets in him. She was not willing to wait for the forensic or the police report to come out. She said she does not want to be educated on the facts because this IS police brutality. Are you her son Kyle?

They act like they care that a life was taken, tell that to the hundreds of black youths dying in Chicago without a peep.

      • smm

The black youths dying in Chicago are dying at their own race’s hands; not because of a police department doing it’s job. No comparison and a stupid statement.

        • richard scalzo

Forget Chicago. Newark’s not better. yet the majority of their police force is black and another thirty percent minority. That changes nothing when you must deal with dirt bags.

      • Angel Martinez

I’m from Chicago the cops arent just running out there shooting black people for no reason

        • metroidjunkie

I wasn’t referring to the police, I’m referring to black youths being slaughtered by other blacks. The body count is far worse with that than by white police officers, it just isn’t as news worthy…

          • volkerball85

“it just isn’t as news worthy…”

Because it doesn’t matter. People like to bring up “race-on-race” crime, but the fact of the matter is that most murders of ANY demographic are carried out by other members of that same demographic. Most murders of whites are committed by other whites, most murders of blacks are committed by other blacks, so on and so forth. It’s not a new revelation.

What makes this case unique is because it’s seen as one more chapter in a perceived pattern of racially-motivated shootings of unarmed black men by police. This same month, a black man named John Crawford was shot and killed by police for holding an unloaded airsoft gun in a section of a store that sells unloaded airsoft guns. Many feel that if Crawford had been white, the police would not have been so quick to pull the trigger.

All if this is extremely debatable, but when you simultaneously have incidents like earlier this month in Texas, when a man named Douglas LeGuin set fires, threatened civilians with a semi-automatic rifle and actually fired on police, it becomes more complicated. LeGuin was apprehended instead of being shot by police, and now sits in a cell, awaiting trial. What are the differences between LeGuin and Brown? Brown was unarmed(and according to some witnesses), surrendering when he was shot to death. Brown was black. LeGuin actually opened fire directly on police with a rifle and still lives. LeGuin is white.

            • metroidjunkie

You know, it’s easy to make assumptions that it’s about race but that’s what people like Al Sharpton do. Did you ever stop to consider that it was him refusing to put the airsoft gun down that stirred them, not him being black? When you make assumptions like that, you’re part of the problem. You’re part of the reason why the police and the black community are at ends, because the police have step on egg shells to avoid angering people like you because God forbid you happen to be white and the guy committing a crime happens to be black.

            • volkerball85

Don’t misunderstand me; my previous comment does not automatically imply agreement with all of the ideas put forth. I do think this country has some issues with race, but I’m not sure if I’m willing to go as far with it as some people in this country do. I was simply explaining why you don’t see the exact same level of outrage from the black community over every single murder, and why cases like these are perceived as different.

“Did you ever stop to consider that it was him refusing to put the airsoft gun down that stirred them, not him being black?”

Here’s where there is a problem. See, someone saw a black man holding what looked like a gun, even though he was standing in the airsoft section of the store, panicked, and called the cops. The cops then came up, guns drawn, and before he had so much time as to even yell IT’S NOT REAL, they shot him. Should he have simply dropped the gun? Sure. But the burden of responsibility in cases like these falls upon the people enforcing the law, not the people expected to abide by it. He didn’t break any laws, he didn’t deserve to be shot to death. End of story.

The incident becomes especially problematic when you read up on stories of White Second Amendment advocates openly carrying actual rifles around in stores and restaurants. None of them have been shot. A black man holds a fake gun in a store, and he’s shot. Do you really think there isn’t a deeper problem there? Understand that I’m not trying to play a card here, I’m just pointing out how lop-sided that seems. You can say the victims in these cases “just happened” to be black, but what about when they “just happen” to be black dozens of times a year? All I’m saying is that sometimes it seems a little fishy, to put it mildly.

“because, in this country, you’re innocent until proven guilty.”

Unless you’re gunned down by the police for holding a cell phone or a toy gun?

          • Angel Martinez

On that I would I agree with you on

            • metroidjunkie

They only care about black youths being slaughtered when it’s done by a white guy because then they get to divide the country into white vs black and guarantee more black people vote Democrat. Divide and conquer, and they claim Conservatives are the ones who judge by race.

    • Mike

I’m glad I donated a few days ago. Best money I’ve spent in a while.

    • Roger

Proving themselves to be the uncaring jerks they are, they prefer to stop voluntary gifts to Wilson instead of, perhaps, seeking financial support for Brown’s family. Let’s face it, both families will bear the scars and the costs of what has happened for the rest of their lives.

      • LexSkeptic

The Browns raised a violent thug. They are going to go on the poor blacks, whiteys gonna kill us tour with Trayvon Martins parents and get all kinds of money. The officer and his family have their lives in jeopardy 24/7, and a public who has already tried and convicted him. They are going to need all the money they can get, just to survive. God help them.

    • http://www.stephenjardent.com/ Stephen J. Ardent

Pity they don’t feel that way about abortion.

    • AZJackalope

If they are so against it why don’t they counter by putting up their own Go Fund Me for Brown’s case and his family. Only problem with that is the racial instigators, and we know who they are, will want the money for themselves. Didn’t Sharpton ask for money already?

      • Delphinus13

        It’s a beautiful sight!

    • Ollie

can we see the facts first? Already Brown’s partner in crime, got scared because of the lies he told about the incident and is back pedaling towards telling the truth, so to save his own hide! What if, the officer was attacked first? What if Brown, punched the officer in the face? What is Brown reached for his gun? What if Brown slammed the door on the officer? What if the gun went off because Brown was trying to shoot the officer in the hip, and Wilson moved the gun out of his side just in time to avoid a mortal wound himself? What if Brown than ran off, and changed his mind and came running back like a bull to attack the officer again? What if the officer had to shoot the drugged up criminal to protect his own life? What if, none of the truth matters and people just want revenge, without a hearing and justice first? The worst part of all this crap is they sent in a military to go after the crowds of protestors, media, and allowed the looters to run free and create chaos!!

    • Orion Eddlemon

“[liberals] are comparing officer wilson to ISIS.” Does that mean they wish to coexist with him and stop supporting his enemies, because that might be a good idea for once.

Death should not be funded? I thought it was just pure stupidity until that last line. I hope none of those protesting this “go fund me ” campaign support Planned Parenthood or woman’s right to “choose” to dismember her own baby. (I say choose, though ~67% are coerced). Over 53 million babies have died since 1973 and every one of those was a paid kill. But I digress because you cannot stoop to the level of stupidity these things bring to the surface. Neither the cop’s family nor Brown’s family are helped by the complete chaos in Ferguson. Every one is there with their own vitriolic, divisive agenda, none in the vain of truly giving a damn about anyone but themselves. When a black panther with a “Kill Whitey” tattoo on his face, gets CNN airtime, we are screwed. If CNN interviews anyone with the “n” word tattoo on their face, you can bet there would be another homicide and no one would protest. We do not fight a racial war, but a cultural one, that begins with no respect for life.

There’s nothing more intolerant than an “open minded” liberal.

    • Delphinus13

Well, that GoFundMe site has closed, taking in a total of over $234,000 for officer Wilson. It links to a new GoFundMe site that links to Shield of Hope, a recognized, tax deductible charity, that also helps Officer Wilson. That GoFundMe site has raised more that $102,000 in just two days, bringing the total raised for Officer Wilson to $336,000.

there is no reason toseset up a fund for him I don’t care you can’t give me a reason he shot the kids 6 times I don’t think the kid was completely innocent but shoot him 6 times is overkill he could have shot that kid to stop him not kill him didn’t have to shot 6times not 1 or 2 but 6 times completely over excessive

      • Theresa Easley

Your comments are painful to read. I hate run-on sentences.

        • Angel Martinez

          Your a child

    • Angel Martinez

its so sick how everybody is donating money to this cop that use excessive force to shoot that boy 6times no reason to shoot him 6 times he could have avoided killing that boy he didn’t try to avoid shooting that many times he just shot I can’t get over it 6times over kill

    • Angel Martinez

No matter what brown was unarmed so he didn’t have to shooy him ip that way an if he shoot out of fear than he shouldn’t be a cop cuz there’s gunna be more trouble then an unarmed teen to deal with he going to shoot everybody that hes scared of but sure lets send himsome money so he can shoot another unarmed kid too

For the record, the “outrage” is over the fact that more than a few people donating were leaving comments like “Here’s your bounty for putting down a violent n*gger,” and variations of such, because it means the campaign violates the TOS of the site by “promoting hate, violence, and racial intolerance.”

Supposedly when confronted about this, Gofundme chose to simply delete the offensive comments, rather than take any further action. Which in my opinion is good enough. Agree with it or not, this is a fund set up to provide legal fees to Darren Wilson, not stir racial tensions further, even if there are a few bad eggs chiming in.

Democrats never stop to reason things out. Logic never comes to their minds. This man has not been charged with any crime. He was convicted by the media. He could be killed by those who hate the truth.

      • Kevin Lauder

Funny. I never hear a conservative speak of innocence before proof of guilt, unless the suspect is a police officer empowered by the state. Must be all that dislike they have of big government.

        • aperture_tech

Funny, I haven’t heard liberals speak about murder of unarmed people until they are black. Must be all that white gulit they don’t have.

          • Kevin Lauder

That isn’t a rebuttal of my claim. Try again.

            • aperture_tech

              Nor was yours of mine

            • Kevin Lauder

              There was nothing to rebut.

        • JSMC

          You are full of feces.

    • Kevin Lauder

I would donate, though I’m not sure they accept feces.

    • ADuhh

What happened to police defending themselves without having to kill anyone? Isn’t that what they are suppose to be TRAINED to do? Defend themselves without having to HARM us, the CITIZENS. I mean regardless of whatever crime you commit, what happened to having your day in court. You know the bullshit that we are taught FREEDOM and JUSTICE in America. Do you idiots not realize we are losing our rights?

    • aperture_tech

Damn, all this recent sliding in the comments, it’s almost as if liberals think he is automatically guilty. Can’t wait to see them demanding more gun control after this, even though that won’t affect the government.

    • sick of liberals

Im happy to inform everyone that officer Wilson`s Go fund me total is up to 403,000

    • MissingPerson

I’m just going to throw this out there. Google the details if you want a history lesson:

      JoAnn V. Liscombe (1952-1991)

For extra irony, take a look at the last name of the guy that shot her to death.

    • endguard

its a new trayvon martin this money will be used for home protection for the flood of death threats to him and his family

    • elscotem

Browns death is tragic. Unfortunately he found out the hard way what happens when you rush a cop. Obviously he had no respect for the police, but he does now for guns. Let it be a lesson for anyone stupid enough to rush a cop. As for all the calls of racism, etc… nothing but BS stirred up by Sharpton and Jackson as a way to raise money for themselves and to pretend their reason for breathing has a purpose.
