Rachel Maddow’s epic fail ‘Trump tax return reveal’ was the talk of the internet and she did not fare well, given the nothing burger that she produced.

But there was one thing she did prove with the reveal.

That President Donald Trump paid a heck of a lot of taxes.

That put paid to a whole narrative of the left, pushed the hardest by Hillary Clinton.

From Chicks on the Right:

“Or maybe he doesn’t want the American people, all of you watching tonight, to know that he’s paid nothing in federal taxes,” Hillary said during that debate. “Because the only years that anybody has ever seen, were a couple of years where he had to turn them over to state authorities when he was trying to get a casino license. And they showed he didn’t pay any federal income tax.”

As Chicks on the Right notes, this tweet didn’t age well and Maddow made it a million times worse.

Of course, Hillary is not the only one shamed by Maddow’s revelation.

Trump paid a higher rate of taxes than did President Barack Obama, Bernie Sanders, and Comcast (NBC’s parent company).

Sanders tweet on the subject also didn’t age well, as we pointed out and Donald Trump, Jr. retweeted.
