Hold onto yourself for this one.
Sit down. Be calm. Have a nice cool glass of water.
Then dive in.
The Obama administration set up hotlines for illegal aliens to complain about being “unsatisfied with their amnesty rights.”
The calls tied up phone lines for 85,414 hours and cost taxpayers $15 million dollars.
Art Del Queto, the vice president of the National Border Council, the local border patrol union in Arizona, noted that a lot of the complaints were frivolous but that it was taking agents away from the field to address the complaints.
What was the subject of the complaints? 3039 over employee conduct, 1222 over frequent searches/time delay, 852 poor staffing/long lines.
Del Queto said this was a ‘huge morale dump’ on the agents involved.
The positive news at the end of the report?
There’s “a new sheriff in town.”
One who is actually going to listen to the concerns of the Border Patrol unions like Del Cueto as well as the people of the United States.
Hopefully now they ditch this monstrosity…
