Remember when the media lost their minds over Trump’s firing of U.S. Attorney Preet Bharara?
It was a perfectly reasonable thing for Trump to do during the transition into his administration but that didn’t stop liberals from crying foul and treating Bharara as some sort of martyr.
Apparently, Preet is now the guy tasked with lecturing Americans about politics.
He showed up on ABC today and made a claim that was both silly and wrong at the same time.
From Fox News:
Preet Bharara, the former U.S. attorney fired earlier this year by President Trump, held nothing back in his first TV interview since his ouster — claiming Sunday there’s “absolutely evidence” to launch an obstruction case against Trump’s team with regard to the Russia probe.
Bharara, however, said on ABC News’ “This Week” that there’s enough evidence to at least start a case.
“No one knows right now whether there is a provable case of obstruction,” he said, adding: “There’s no basis to say there’s no obstruction.”
Obviously, rational people understand this is not the case and let’s also not pretend this source doesn’t have a major ax to grind.
Check out the video.
Liberals should really stop and take a deep breath here.
This story is over. Every day they continue to spend on this is a day that helps Trump win again in 2020.
If that’s what they want, then keep putting guys like this on T.V.
