Media was in a frenzy today after President Donald Trump’s press conference in which he just ripped them for ‘fake news’ and bad reporting.
Fox’s Shepard Smith was not at all happy.
While Smith is a Fox reporter, he has never operated much like one, preferring the emotional liberal approach to the news. In covering an a news event, he conveys very clearly his emotions, not necessarily a lot of facts.
His snapping at Trump today was more of the same, but with an extra side of crazy.

From TV Line:
“..[Trump was] treating him like … I’m not even going to use the word. I’m not going to give Twitter the love it needs. It’s crazy what we’re watching everyday, it’s absolutely crazy. He keeps repeating ridiculous throwaway lines that are not true at all and sort of avoiding this issue of Russia, as if we’re some kind of fools for asking the question.”
Do you really want an answer to that question?
He continued: “Really? Your opposition was hacked, and the Russians were responsible for it, and your people were on the phone with Russia on the same day it was happening, and we’re fools for asking the questions? No, sir, we are not fools for asking this question, and we demand to know the answer to this question. You owe this to the American people.”
Smith concluded, “We have a right to know, we absolutely do, and that you call us ‘fake news’ and put us down like children for asking this question is inconsequential. The people deserve that answer.”
So let’s break down Smith’s statement.
He’s upset with things Trump says that are “not true at all.”
Please explain to me, Shep, how you know that the Trump team was in communication with Russia on “the same day” the DNC was hacked.
Please cite your evidence, because I haven’t heard that anywhere.
You’re claiming you know the exact day that the DNC was hacked? Do you have a confession to make?
Moreover, the FBI has said repeatedly: there is nothing illicit in the communications between the Trump team (including Michael Flynn) and Russia.
You got the answer, Shep. You just choose to not accept it in favor of agenda and pushing the chaos.
Sure sounds like ‘fake news’ to me…
