Sarah Sanders Asked If Trump Is ‘Un-American’ — Her Response Strikes the Fear of God Into April Ryan

Liberal reporter April Ryan has made a name for herself in all the wrong ways – as is common with most lefties.

During a White House press briefing on Tuesday, Ryan asked Press Secretary Sarah Sanders if President Trump’s critical response to Democrats after they barely applauded during the State of the Union (even when party lines were crossed) was ‘un-American’.

Sanders was prepared, as always.

Check it out…

From Daily Caller:

“What is so un-American about this, this year, after this has been going on for all of these years?” she posed to the White House press secretary, but Sanders was ready with a dynamite response.

“I think its un-American not to be excited about the fact that more people in this country have jobs than they did before, the fact that more people in this country have higher wages than they did before, the fact that the economy is booming like it wasn’t before, the fact that ISIS is being crushed like it wasn’t before,” she flatly answered. “These are things that I don’t care what party you are from, these are things that every American should be excited about and be able to celebrate.”

WATCH:

House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) was one of far too many Democrats who mostly refused to stand and clap during President Trump’s State of the Union speech.

Her face throughout the speech was absolutely priceless! Here’s how Twitter reacted…

Sanders had a few things to say about Pelosi, while speaking to CNN host Chris Cuomo.

Regarding the SOTU, Cuomo said: “That room last night was grossly divided. I’ve never seen Nancy Pelosi’s face like that. The president made some outreach to them, but he was focusing mostly on the Republican side. How can he unify that room?

Enter Sanders:

From RealClearPolitics:

“I’m going to be a little bit in disagreement with you. I think Nancy Pelosi looks like that all the time. I think she should smile a lot more often.

I think the country would be better for it. She seems to kind of embody the bitterness that belongs in Democrat party right now. I think last night was a good step forward. Hopefully, they can let go of some of that.

And they have to make a big decision. They need to decide, Chris, do they love America more than they hate this president? And are they willing to put some of those differences aside, come together, and do what’s right for this country?”

If you thought Sanders couldn’t get any cooler, think again…

From The Daily Caller:

Sarah Sanders was giving a preview of the State of the Union to “Fox & Friends” Wednesday when she was asked an unexpected question: What is this bottle of whiskey in your office?

“We saw a bottle of whiskey, which you might need,” Fox host Steve Doocy said, to which Sanders replied “I like to remind everybody that was a sealed bottle and has not been opened,” before adding that her “dad might be watching.”

The specific bottle of whiskey in Sanders’ office is “Warrior Whiskey.”

This whiskey is made by a Navy SEAL veteran and a portion of the proceeds go to veteran charities. The White House confirmed to The Daily Caller that Sanders displays the bottle in her office to support veterans.

Doesn’t get much better than that.

Here’s what the company website says if you want more information about the whiskey…

From Steamboat Whiskey:

Steamboat Whiskey Company Founder and Head Distiller Nathan Newhall is a former U. S. Navy SEAL. Nathan wanted to give back to veterans in a meaningful way so he developed Warrior Whiskey as a military tribute product. A portion of the proceeds from the sale of Warrior Whiskey go directly to vetted U.S. veteran support organizations so they may continue the important work helping America’s fighting heroes. This quarter we are donating to the Navy Seal Fund.

Benny Johnson also pointed out in his Daily Caller story that the whiskey company donates money to veterans.

Great stuff!

Trump doesn’t drink but even he can get behind a great company like this.

Sarah Sanders has consistenly made it a habit to express her gratitude toward the vets. In fact, check out the moment that she called one of the most powerful of her entire life.

From The Daily Wire:

On Thursday, President Donald Trump left the White House unannounced to board Marine One and head over to Walter Reed Hospital where he visited with wounded warriors for the Christmas holiday. During his time with our brave service members and their families, President Trump awarded 25-year-old injured service member Victor Prato with the Purple Heart for his heroism.

White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders said the interaction was “one of the most powerful moments” of her life.

“One of the most powerful moments of my life watching POTUS give the Purple Heart to this American Hero,” wrote Sanders. “Amazed by the strength and resilience of the men and women in our Armed Forces.”

God bless our troops and God bless Sarah Sanders.
