When “The Apprentice” contestant Omarosa Newman-Manigault was fired from her White House job late last year, the reason for her dismissal was left unexplained. But now a new report may have uncovered why she got canned by the Trump administration.
Manigault was director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison for the White House but was fired early in December. There was some confusion over why and how she parted ways with the Trump administration. For instance, many outlets said she was fired. One source even said she was “physically dragged out of the White House” after being told she was being let go. However, Manigault insisted she quit and was not fired at all.

Manigault went on to slam the White House in multiple interviews. At one point she said, “There were a lot of things that I observed during the last year that I was very unhappy with, that I was very uncomfortable with.”
By the time she was hired for yet another TV reality show this year, Omarosa was saying she would never again vote for Trump.
Amusingly, after she was fired in December, the White House shot back at her protestations noting that she was “fired three times” on the TV show, “The Apprentice.”
Yet, with all that “she said, he said” going on, there was still no clear reason why Omarosa was shown the door at the White House. But now, a new report is saying she was fired for abusing the White House car service.
As BizPacReview reported today:
According to the article published on Tuesday, Kelly “dismissed the former director of communications for the Office of Public Liaison, Omarosa Manigault, who had been using the White House car service — known as “CARPET” — as an office pick-up and drop-off service, something strictly forbidden by the federal government.”
The White House Transportation Agency is staffed exclusively by Army NCOs, who provide 24-hour transportation and cargo support services to the chief executive, the Army Times noted. The agency provides chauffeur and cargo support services to the president, first family, White House staff and visiting dignitaries.
So, it appears that her own arrogance and assumed sense of personal privilege at the expense of the American people is what got her fired.
One other hilarious story about Omarosa’s “The Apprentice” days might amuse you. The story comes from British broadcaster and one-time “The Apprentice” contestant, Piers Morgan.
“I’ve met a lot of vile human beings in my life, from dictators and terrorists to sex abusers and wicked conmen,” Morgan said of Manigault in a Daily Mail article. “But I’ve never met anyone quite so relentlessly loathsome as Omarosa; a vicious, duplicitous, lying, conniving, backstabbing piece of work.”
Morgan went on to tell a story of an interaction he had with Manigault:
Omarosa sidled up to me at the New York Mercantile Exchange and said, quite seriously: ‘Piers, do you want a showmance?’ ‘A what?’ I replied. ‘A showmance. You know, a romance on the show – we get it on together. Happens all the time on Apprentice. Everyone has sex together. Then we can make lots of money out of it.’ I stared at her grasping, ferociously ambitious little eyes, and laughed: ‘You must be joking, you deluded woman.’ She didn’t take it well. ‘What are you? Gay?’
From that moment, she turned on me like a viper.
I can honestly say I’ve never been spoken to in my life like the disgusting, foul-mouthed, homophobic way Omarosa spat at me throughout the weeks of filming.
Because I’d rejected her revolting sex plot, she decided the best line of attack was to repeatedly question my sexuality in the most crude and offensive manner imaginable.
