GOP Senators Getting Death Threats to Personal Phones, One Senator’s Family Doxxed, Wife Threatened

Troubling information is emerging about the threats that GOP lawmakers are facing in the wake of the Kavanaugh hearing. What’s most troubling is not just the threats but the method in which they are being delivered.

According to Fox’s Peter Doocy, a GOP senator has told him that they are receiving the threats to their personal phones.

And that some who went home after the Kavanaugh vote, went with protection because of the threats.

So who would have their private numbers?

Other lawmakers and staffers.

And someone really is trying to get to Sen. Cory Gardner (R-CO), they just doxxed multiple members of his family and threatened his wife.

From Daily Caller:

Several family members of Colorado Republican Sen. Cory Gardner names and home addresses were made public and Gardner’s wife has received a “gruesome” video of a beheading.

A spokesman for Gardner has confirmed to The Daily Caller News Foundation that his family has been doxxed and graphic footage of a beheading was sent via text message to his wife. The Colorado senator — who has invoked furor from liberal activists for voting in favor of now-Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh — first revealed the doxxing to Fox News.

Gardner’s office confirmed that tweet was correct.

Last week, 3 GOP Senators were doxxed during the Kavanaugh hearing with their personal information being posted on Wikipedia. Jackson A. Cosko, 27, a congressional staffer who previously worked for Democrats including Sen. Dianne Feinstein, was arrested and charged with making public restricted personal information, witness tampering, threats in interstate communications, unauthorized access of a government computer, second-degree burglary, identity theft.
