TMZ caught up with Bill Nye, the pseudo-science guy, at the airport in Burbank and asked him if he wanted to comment on the multiple hurricanes that had occurred or were about to occur.

They asked if he saw this as the new normal.

He says there is no doubt in his mind and that the ‘more heat energy in the atmosphere, the stronger the storm.’

He repeats the same contention here in a radio interview with Dan Rather, saying global warming is making the hurricanes stronger.

But Bill Nye isn’t a science guy, has absolutely no training as a climate scientist and in the words of Red State, is a former children’s entertainer with a ‘baking soda volcano’ level of expertise.

But a real scientist just wasn’t going to let Nye get away with pushing nonsense. Ryan Maue is a research meteorologist with a Ph.D. and a concentration in tropical weather analysis.

Oops.

He continued.

Boom!

Nye also fails to explain what this tweet captures so brilliantly.

Why does the left listen to this guy who has fewer science credentials than Dolph Lundgren?

Red State captures it perfectly.

In any case, Bill Nye is a reactionary loudmouth wanna-be smart guy with crappy credentials, a surly demeanor, and the nerve to rest on his “I hosted a kid’s show” laurels, and the eager left media can’t get enough. As a whole, they adore him. They all agree.

Which should tell you a lot about how much faith to put in their “consensus” credentials.
