Remember that 30 minute meeting between Bill Clinton and then Attorney General Loretta Lynch on a tarmac last June that was supposedly about their grandchildren and golf?
Remember how days later FBI Director James Comey declined to charge Hillary Clinton for gross negligence in handling of classified information after making the case that she had been “extremely careless” in the handling of that information?
Remember how no one believed that the two events were not connected?
Well, the folks at Judicial Watch remember and still want a reckoning.
According to the Free Beacon:
Judicial Watch, a government watchdog group, has filed a lawsuit against the Department of Justice after the agency failed to respond to a Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request related to the infamous tarmac meeting between then-Attorney General Loretta Lynch and former President Bill Clinton just days before Hillary Clinton was interviewed by the FBI about her private email server.
“The infamous tarmac meeting between President Clinton and AG Lynch is a vivid example of why many Americans believe the Obama administration’s criminal investigation into Hillary Clinton was rigged,” Tom Fitton, president of Judicial Watch, said of the lawsuit. “Now it will be up to Attorney General Sessions at the Trump Justice Department to finally shed some light on this subversion of justice.”
Although this suit on the surface may seem purely academic, given that the results of the last presidential election are already in, it still may have real world consequences.
As reported by YoungCons here, Hillary is said by insiders to be eyeing a run for NYC mayor.
And of course, another presidential run in 2020 by her would surprise no one.
