Early today news broke that a CNN producer was caught on video slamming his own network for pursing the Russia/Trump story even though it is “mostly bulls**t.” Now CNN has come out to say that it fully supports the producer who made the comments.
Early this morning, Project Veritas founder James O’Keefe released a video of CNN Producer John Bonifield admitting that the network intentionally dominates its daily coverage with the fake news Russia story despite the violation of journalistic ethics that tactic represents.
CNN Producer Bonifield, for instance, says CNN boss Jeff Zucker intentionally directed coverage away from the climate accord and back to fake Russia story. He also says the networks does this all the time to keep the fake Russia story on the front burner.
In O’Keefe’s video, Bonifield claims CNN is constantly covering Russia “because ratings.”
Bonifield went on to say that CNN keeps pushing the story even though they have no proof.
“[Russia collusion theory] could be bull shit, it’s mostly bull shit right now. Like, we don’t have any big giant proof.”
Bonifeld went on:
“I just feel like they don’t really have it, but they want to keep digging.”
“And so I think the President is probably right to say, like, look, you are witch hunting me, like, you have no smoking gun. You have no real proof.”
So, here we have a CNN producer admitting that they have no proof whatsoever that Trump had anything at all to do with the Russians, but they are pushing the story all out every single day knowing full well that they have no facts to support their claims.
One would think that CNN would be upset that their man just spilled the beans.
CNN is now saying that they fully support their employee.

The statement released by CNN reads:
CNN stands by our medical producer John Bonifeld. Diversity of personal opinion is what makes CNN strong, we welcome it and embrace it.
This, though, is probably just a public face-saving thing. It would not be surprising if Bonifield were to be punished in other ways later on.
