Thanks to Winter Storm Stella, parts of Washington D.C. were hit this week with up to 10 inches of snow.
That’s a lot, but not much compared to the amount of snowflakes that fell on Senator Ted Cruz’s twitter feed today when he shared a tweet of a conservative song parody.
A tribute to Snowflakes everywhere…. https://t.co/1k0vSDy06Y

The song itself is “Friends in Safe Places”, a cute take on Garth Brook’s huge hit “Friends in Low Places” but one that mocks liberals with such verses as “You saw our surprise/fear in our eyes/When Donald became president. Screamed ‘this can’t be true!/America’s through!’/And to the Safe Places we went.”
It is by comedians Chad Prather and Steve Mudflap McGrew aka Larry the Liberal, and already has over 160,000 views on youtube.
It is well worth a listen:
Unfortunately, the “snowflakes” on Twitter saw Cruz’s tweet and had a…well, a meltdown.
@tedcruz Did a real politician just use the term 'snowflake'? Way to have respect for all people, Ted. Enjoy your (hopefully) last term.

As Twitchy writes:
Waaaaaaah. We’d include more of their tweets but honestly they all sound alike this so why bother?
And sheesh, when did people lose their sense of humor?
In January the Senator playfully answered a challenge from the sports site Deadspin only to be answered with a profane tweet.
The Senator clearly has talent in provoking tantrums out of Progressives.
