Nothing says I’m a young and hip grandma like referencing a 1965 song from The Beatles. Granted, The Beatles are timeless, but presidential hopeful Marco Rubio wants the Hillary campaign to know that she’s not as cool as she may think.

More than Likely, Rubio is going to give Clinton a run for her money all the way up through next year’s general election, so we’ll see how people react to a younger man going after an older woman.

A liberal older woman at that!

When Hillary Clinton re-launched her campaign Saturday she said Republicans are “all singing the same old song — a song called ‘Yesterday'” — a Beatles song over five decades old, which the Rubio campaign was quick to point out.

The Beatles song was released in September, 1965.

The Rubio jab at Hillary goes perfect with what he said when he announced his candidacy. “Just yesterday, a leader from yesterday began a campaign for president by promising to take us back to yesterday.”
