Jeff Sessions appeared for his Senate confirmation hearing today.
He was accompanied by several members of his family, as is customary at such events.
His daughter, Ruth Sessions Walk, is married to an Asian man, John Walk, and their little children were also present at the hearing.
That prompted an unbelievable reaction from the an MTV ‘culture writer’, Ira Madison III.
Madison continued on to call the child a “prop” to prove that he, Sessions, wasn’t a racist.
According to the Washington Examiner, MTV disavowed his comments and said his opinions were his own, not theirs.
Madison later deleted his tweets after they sparked outrage.
“I often tell jokes, but seeing as bringing up Sessions’ history of racial hatred of Asians is seen as an attack on his grandchild, I deleted,” he said.
So Madison attacked supposed racism by being racist.
Why is it that the supposedly tolerant ones are in fact the least tolerant?
