Paul Ryan has been letting conservatives down like it’s going out of style the last few years and a lot of people are wondering how long this guy can keep his seat as House Speaker.
He seems like a nice enough guy but he’s failed time after time to get things done.
The most recent example was the Obamacare replacement disaster where he couldn’t even get his bill to the floor to vote on.
We have been seeing reports that Ryan isn’t planning on funding the wall this year which would be a huge violation of trust between Trump supporters and the GOP leadership they voted for.
Check out what the president of the Border Patrol had to say when he was questioned about the report that Paul Ryan isn’t going to fund the wall this year.
From The Daily Caller:
“I disagree,” Judd flatly responded. “President Trump promised he was going to secure the border and part of securing the border is putting in place the proper technology and resources that allows us to be successful.”
“A border wall in strategic locations is one of those things that must get done.
Judd further criticized the Obama administration, and by extension Paul Ryan, for “[politicizing] the security of this nation.”
“I think that’s sad,” he continued. “President Trump has come in and has not politicized it.”
That’s a pretty strong message to Paul Ryan that this wall needs to get paid for.
This wall needs to get built.
There’s no other way to put it. It was a critical campaign promise and if Ryan can’t get it done then someone else needs to step up and do his job.
