Donald Trump was in Nashville last week holding a major rally for his supporters.
Apparently, he could have gone to a play in New York City with Canadian PM Trudeau.
He passed on that…
From Washington Examiner:
President Trump rejected an invitation from Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau and decided to rally in Nashville, Tenn., instead, according to a report Saturday.
Ivanka Trump and about 120 ambassadors from around the world reportedly attended the play. But not Trump.
On the prospect of going to the play, Trump reportedly said, “absolutely not.”
Some will say that this is fickle or petty but I say good for him.
We don’t need any of that fake and rehearsed theater that we saw from Obama.
Instead, Trump went to a rally that helped him out way more than going to this play would have.
Justin Trudeau doesn’t know what he’s doing up in Canada and there wasn’t really any need for Trump to play nice with him especially since Ivanka was there.
